Another NY Giant Records Special Message For East Brook Victims
It is the 3rd New York Giant to send well wishes to the East Brook Middle School and Paramus following the fatal bus crash on May 17.
PARAMUS, NJ — Another New York Giant has recorded a special message for the victims of the East Brook Middle School bus crash.
"I just want to send my thoughts and prayers to everyone in the crash last week," said defensive end Romeo Okwara. "I hope everyone gets well soon."
Okwara is the third Giant to record such a message. Landon Collins recorded a message for student Brendan O'Callaghan and quarterback Eli Manning also made one for the entire East Brook and Paramus communities. O'Callaghan came home from the hospital Tuesday.

"Stay together, stay close, rely on each other and you'll get through this," Manning said in his message.
There were 46 people on the bus, 38 students from East Brook Middle School on the bus, along with seven teachers and chaperones, and the driver, Hudy Muldrow Sr. The bus was one of three transporting people to Waterloo Village off of I-80 May 17 when the crash occurred. Muldrow Sr. has been charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter related to the crash. Dozens were injured in the crash, many critically.

Two people, teacher Jennifer Williamson-Kennedy and 10-year-old student Miranda Faith Vargas died in the Mount Olive crash.
Paramus residents have come up with inventive ways of expressing support for the victims and greater Paramus community.
Christopher Sabo wrote and produced a special song and a teacher who was on the bus created bracelets in memory of Williamson-Kennedy and Vargas.
