The state Department of Transportation is giving Paramus $146,500 for work on Soldier Hill Road.
Borough Engineer Peter Ten Kate said the funds will be used to mill and resurface the road from about its midpoint to Pascack Road.
The Borough on the eastern portion of the road in 2011 after another state grant, totaling $200,000. Since the Borough received less money this time, Ten Kate said work would pick up where last year's project left off and go as far toward Pascack as the money allowed.
