
Clarinetist Guido Arbonelli will perform works by composers Steve Rich, Dinu Ghezzo, Carlos Delgado and selections from “Namaste Suite,” a set of one minute compositions by various female composers, featuring messages of unity, love and joy.
Mr. Arbonelli will perform at “Walking Between Europe and the USA: Summer Solstice Concert” on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre.
Mr. Arbonelli has been a soloist for Italian and foreign orchestras. He currently serves as a faculty member at the Conservatory in Adria, and has arranged compositions and authored numerous teaching methods for the clarinet.

Lynn Needle, a former soloist who toured internationally with the Nikolais Dance Theatre, will choreograph and perform selections from “Namaste Suite.” Ms. Needle has choreographed numerous works for MTV, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and other theater groups.
Admission to the concert is free. The event is sponsored by the Office of Student Life.
