Farmers Market Kick Off, Borough Meetings This Week
A look ahead at the coming days in Paramus

The Paramus Farmers Market will start Wednesday after receiving formal approval from the Borough Council April 17.
The market will be managed by Dina Burke and Judith Remiszewski, who previously managed the Washington Township farmers market. The Environmental Commission is sponsoring the market.
This will be a busy week for Borough meetings, starting with a school board meeting on Monday, and Planning Board and Board of Adjustment meetings on Thursday.

Monday: During Monday’s school board meeting, several middle school students from East Brook Middle School and West Brook Middle School will be honored for their academic achievements.
Tuesday: FREE SAT Practice Test at the Paramus JCC at 5:30pm. A fully-proctored practice SAT (approx. 4 hrs) will show students what to expect in a test-like environment. Students will receive a comprehensive analysis of their performance on the test, detailing individual strengths and weaknesses.

Wednesday: Opening Day for Paramus Farmers Market. Support local growers starting Wednesdays from June 20th thru September 26th from 3pm - 7pm. The Paramus Farmer’s Market is located at Petruska Park - 475 Farview Avenue.
Thursday: Both the Planning Board and the Board of Adjustment will meet on Thursday in Borough Hall. The Planning Board meets 7pm in the Council Chambers on the second floor. The Board of Adjustment meets at 7:30pm in the Caucus Room on the lower level.
Friday: Free Blood Pressure Screening in Paramus. The Paramus Board of Health will offer free screening for blood pressure for Paramus residents on Friday from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at Borough Hall.
