Juniper Village at Paramus Announces New Connections Director

Paramus, NJ — March 20, 2024 — Juniper Communities, a leading provider of senior living communities, proudly announces the appointment of a new building leadership team member at Juniper Village at Paramus. Stephanie McKay, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, was appointed as Connections Director. With over six years of dedicated service in the senior living industry, she is known for her compassionate approach to working with aging adults.

Prior to joining Juniper Village at Paramus, McKay held various positions including Recreation Director, Memory Care Coordinator, Independent Living Coordinator, and Marketing Coordinator at other companies. She has been certified as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), adding to her commitment to providing exceptional care to seniors.

McKay's passion for working with seniors stems from her firsthand experiences, particularly her close relationship with her grandmother who battled dementia. "I realized that I had patience and empathy, which are great qualities for working with seniors," McKay shared.

Outside of her professional endeavors, McKay enjoys indulging in her passion for Broadway shows and spending quality time with her husband, son, and Golden Doodle named Bailey. She is particularly thrilled to be involved in the Broadway Senior Program at Juniper, where residents collaborate to stage musical productions.
