Local Girl Scouts Show Acts of Kindness Toward Senior Living Community
Girl Scouts from the area took time out of their day to read books to the residents of Juniper Village at Paramus.
March 20, 2023 (Paramus, NJ) – Juniper Communities, a leading provider of senior living communities, Paramus location recently welcomed local Girl Scout troops for a reading session.
Fittingly taking place on February 17, which is National Random Acts of Kindness Day, Girl Scouts from Troops 95892 and 98755 took time out of their day to read books to the residents of Juniper Village at Paramus. This idea came to fruition thanks to Troop 95892 Girl Scout Sarah Waisnor, an eleventh-grader from Ridgewood. All the books chosen to be read had one common objective in the storyline: kindness. Some of the books read included Lilly’s Chocolate Heart by Kevin Henkes and The Happy Book by Andy Rash.
