Man Who Allegedly Killed Paramus Jogger in PA is Fit to Stand Trial

Philip Cise is accused of running down and killing Paramus' Gabrielle Reuveni in 2012. His trial is scheduled to begin in July 12.

Philip Cise, the man charged with killing a former Paramus High School valedictorian in 2012, is competent to stand trial, a Pennsylvania judge ruled Tuesday.

Authorities said Cise, 51, a Morris county resident, was under the influence of painkillers when he allegedly struck and killed 20-year-old Gabrielle Reuveni with his vehicle. Reuveni was killed as she was running on the side of a ride in the Poconos on July 14, 2012.

Cise’s trial is scheduled to begin in July.

Cise was accused of demanding free food at a Rockaway McDonald’s drive-thru in July 2010 and allegedly wielded an axe at a female customer.
