Midland Traffic Light Installation Underway
Work due to be completed in early May

After supply delays over the winter, the Borough's is on schedule to finish installing traffic lights on West Midland Avenue near the entrance to the by the beginning of May.
The contractor for the project has started sidewalk work in connection with the project, which will install traffic lights at Abbott Road and Country Club Road, Mayor Richard LaBarbiera said. Workers are using the Paramus Pool parking lot as a staging area.
has agreed to cover the nearly $400,000 cost of installing the lights. The Borough was responsible for about $25,000 in engineering fees.
