National Night Out, Final Summer Concert, Board of Adjustment Meeting Top The Week Ahead

On Tuesday, The Borough of Paramus, like many municipalities, will hold it's National Night Out, sponsored by the Paramus Police Department.

Paramus residents will learn about safety during National Night Out, a community-police-awareness event held annually on the first Tuesday of August. 

Parents can get free child I.D. cards for their children, and kids of all ages will enjoy fun familiy activities and giveaways. Hot dogs and hambergers will be served.

TUESDAY: National Night Out, 5-7pm, Main Paramus Library - 116 East Century Road. 

Afterwards, head over to the Paramus Bandshell for the final free  concert series event with a performance by The Hitmen, original performing and recording members of acts such as Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, Tommy James & The Shondells, The Critters, Barry Manilow, Elton John, and Kiki Dee.

The event is sponsored by the Paramus Cultural Arts Council and takes place at the Paramus Bandshell located behind the Main Library, 116 E. Century Road. For further information or in case of rain, call 201-599-ARTS (2787). Concert starts 7:30pm. 

WEDNESDAY: Paramus Farmers Market is open for business from 3pm - 7pm and is located at Petruska Park - 475 Farview Avenue, a quarter-mile north of Midland Intersection. (The market is open for business Wednesdays thru September 26th)

THURSDAY: Board of Adjustments meeting, 7:30pm at Borough Hall.

And New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners Bergen County Chapter will host its monthly Business Over Breakfast networking meeting 8:00 am-9:30 am at Panera Bakery Cafe, 165 Route 4 West. (Kohl's Shopping Center) 

FRIDAY: Blood or platelets donors can receive two complimentary tickets to the New York Renaissance Faire when they donate blood or platelets at Community Blood Services, 970 Linwood Avenue West.
