Paramus Poker Champ Jamie Gold Selling Prize Bracelet
Gold was awarded the bracelet when he won the 2006 World Series of Poker
Paramus native Jamie Gold, who won $12 million in the 2006 World Series of Poker, is selling the stone-encrusted gold bracelet he was awarded for his first-place finish.
Gold won the bracelet during the height of poker's popularity. The tournament had a total prize pool of more than $82 million — the largest ever — and included more than 8,000 competitors.
The Heritage Auctions website states that they will begin accepting bids for the bracelet starting on about July 13. The auction will last until August 2.
