Cause of Death Released For New York Woman Found Dead In Car
Frances McQuaige was found dead in a car by an employee Monday morning, police said.

The woman who was found dead in a car in a Burger King parking lot Monday morning died from coronary artery disease, authorities said. The cold also contributed to her death.
Frances McQuaige, 78, of Medford, N.Y. was found in a golf Cadillac sedan Monday morning by Burger King employees, Hackensack Police Director Michael Mordaga confirmed.
McQuaige died of coronary artery disease, said Bergen County spokesman Michael Pagan, citing information from the county medical examiner. The cold was a contributing factor, he said.

Police said Monday that McQuaige told Burger King employees that she was going to stay in the car Saturday night because she was too afraid to drive in the storm.
The car was not running when it was found and the tailpipe was free of snow, police said.

It is the fourth weather-related death in North Jersey due to last weekend’s snowstorm.

Sashalynn Rosa, 23, and her 1-year-old son, Messiah, died Saturday from carbon monoxide poisoning in Passaic when the tailpipe of the car they were in because the car’s tail pipe was covered with snow. Rosa’s 3-year-old daughter remains in critical condition.
