Proposed Drug Policy Would Benefit Workers Earning Less Than $500
Cost of tests for certain Borough employees would be reimbursed

Newly hired temporary Borough employees earning less than $500 would get a refund on their drug and alcohol tests if the council approves a change to Borough drug and alcohol testing policy Tuesday night.
The Mayor and Council are scheduled to hold a public meeting at 7:45 p.m. in .
Their agenda includes an ordinance that would create a distinction in the drug and alcohol testing policy between workers earning more than $500 and workers earning less than $500. Both groups must pay for their drug tests, but the proposed ordinance would reimburse workers earning less than $500 at the end of their employment with the Borough.
