Tractor-Trailer Driver Describes Rt. 17 Crash [video]
The crash involved two tractor-trailers and closed the highway for hours.

PARAMUS, N.J. — The driver of one of the tractor-trailers involved in a crash on Route 17 Wednesday spoke about the ordeal.
The man described what happened to NorthJersey.com and the video was posted on Facebook.

A tractor-trailer's brakes locked up on Route 17 northbound and another tractor-trailer carrying steel beams tried avoiding crashing into another vehicle and collided with the tractor-trailer, police said.
The beams spilled across both sides of Route 17, seriously injuring a 56-year-old man, police said.

The Paramus Police Traffic Division and the New Jersey State Police Commercial Carrier Safety Inspection Unit are investigating the crash.
