Watercolors, Wellness, Wildlife, and More at Juniper Village!

May 29, 2024 (Paramus, NJ & Bloomfield, NJ) – Juniper Village at Paramus, an outstanding assisted living community located in Bergen County, NJ, has been buzzing with a vibrant array of activities throughout the month of May, creating memorable experiences for residents and the local community.

The month kicked off with an outing to the Bergen County Zoo. Residents were treated to an informative and up-close session with the zoo staff, showcasing fascinating creatures from both North and South America.

Juniper welcomed a delightful group of senior high school students for an inspiring session of watercolor painting. This artistic endeavor not only allowed residents to express their creativity but also sparked heartwarming intergenerational conversations, bridging the gap between generations through art.

Adding a touch of glamour, Macy's at Garden State Plaza hosted a special Clinique Skincare event for the Juniper community. Residents had the opportunity to learn about their skin types and indulge in some incredible products. The event was both educational and luxurious, leaving everyone feeling pampered and rejuvenated.

The spirit of kindness was in full bloom when the Paramus Library generously donated new plants to Juniper Village. These beautiful additions were not just delivered – they were planted with love by local elementary school students. The act of planting together fostered a sense of unity and growth, symbolizing the nurturing environment at Juniper.

The month wouldn't have been complete without the excitement of the May Men's Club Lunch. Members enjoyed a baseball game while feasting on delicious pizza and wings.
