Week In Review: Health Consortium Relocated, New BCC President, National Night Out, Justice for Gabby

After merging three health agencies into one, the State of New Jersey is expected to close the Northern New Jersey Maternal and Child Health Consortium in Paramus by September.

After conducting a one year search for a new president, the Bergen Community College Board of Trustees unanimously appoint Dr. B. Kaye Walter from Indiana's Ivy Tech Community College to start Monday.

While local emergency units traditionally use National Night Out to draw attention to safety and community service, the Paramus event has also become an event to catch up with family, friends and neighbors.

A month after Paramus resident Gabrielle Reuveni was fatally struck by Dover resident Philip Cise, Assembly members Connie Wagner and Tim Eustace, and Senator Bob Gordon are calling for justice and better accountability from the judicial system.
