Wells, Jaworski & Liebman, LLP has announced three promotions: Jennifer M. Berardo and Katie J. Razin have been promoted to partner, and Jameson P. Van Eck has been named an equity partner in the firm.

Berardo, who joined the firm in 2021 as an associate, concentrates her practice in land use, redevelopment, zoning, real estate, civil and commercial litigation, and outdoor advertising. She represents residential, commercial and industrial developers seeking State approvals, as well as handles all aspects of land entitlements, including lease negotiations, land acquisitions/divestitures, and development applications before local, county and state governmental agencies. She previously served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. LaConte, J.S.C. in Passaic County. Berardo is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

Razin joined Wells, Jaworski & Liebman in 2022 as an associate. She focuses her practice on land use, zoning, and municipal law, working in all facets of development. With a long-standing and successful practice working closely with client development teams and representing parties before local land use boards, she serves as counsel to corporate and private developers and objectors alike. Razin also serves as a board attorney to planning and zoning boards throughout Hunterdon, Bergen and Union counties. She is an associate editor of the Local Government Law Review, which is published quarterly by the NJ Institute of Local Government Attorneys. He also represents both developers and objectors before local planning and zoning boards and regularly represents parties in actions in lieu of prerogative writs challenging local land use decisions and other actions taken by municipal governing bodies. He also serves as counsel to planning and zoning boards in northern New Jersey. He joined the firm in 2021 and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

“Our practice continues to grow as we represent developers and municipalities across not only New Jersey, but the region, more generally. Jenn, Katie and Jameson have all played important roles in our success, and we are excited to recognize their contributions,” noted Managing Partner Andrew Kohut.
