A Good Run: Bizzie Lizzie Fun Run starts Saturday

If you don't feel like running in the Bizzie Lizzie 5K Fun Run on Saturday, there's a lot to do on the sidelines.

For kids, there's the "Bizzie Lizzie Beauty Parlor'' where children can get gussied up with tattoos, make-up  and crazy hair. For $10, you can by wings, wand and a tutu.  

The fundraiser begins at 8 a.m. at 4 Campus Drive at the Mack Cali campus. Nearly 800 people have already pre-registered, but you can register at the event.

Adults have a chance to win an array of Tricky Tray prizes including a gift certificate from Wee Babysit, a percussion set from Toca Instruments, Starbucks coffee and Disney Toys. Raffle tickets for a year-long membership to Lakeland YMCA will also be available.

But the main event is the run itself, which begins at 9:30 a.m. for the "mile fun run/walk'' and 10:00 a.m. for the 5K. Registration will close at 9:45. 

The event is a fundraiser for Joe and Amy Stein,'' died in January after being diagnosed with a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma; an inoperable tumor on her brain stem.  

The Fun Run is hosted by the Parsippany Moms Club West,  along with many local residents and businesses.
