A Shady Retreat Near Lake Intervale
The newly renovated playground in Manor Park offers a cool place to play.
Just off of Parsippany Boulevard, down the street from Intervale Elementary School, you will find Manor Park.
The park boasts a baseball field, basketball court and walking path. There’s also a port-a-john, a drinking fountain, picnic tables and benches.
Tall trees provide lots of shade and a newly renovated play structure provides lots of options for swinging, climbing and sliding.

Three twisty slides top the end of the structure just opposite a funky, curved climbing ladder. Monkey bars carry you across to a ramp that leads down to a climbing wall, stairs and several other paths to safe ground.
Old-fashioned bench swings and swings for toddlers are set back from the rest of the play equipment, and there’s a bouncy seat for four.

When you leave Manor Park you will be just a mile or so down the road from , which serves award-winning pizza. Alternately, you can head back out to Route 46 and treat the kids to a stop at or the .
