
Julie Ann Ashforth passed away last Tuesday at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. She was 44.
Ashforth was born in Kearny and grew up in Lake Hiawatha, where she graduated from Parsippany High School in 1985. She also lived in East Hanover before moving to Morris Plains in 2007.
She worked as a paralegal assistant at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP in Morristown.

Survivors include her daughters Renee and Julia Zecca from East Hanover; her brother, Joseph P. Ashforth of Somerville; and a host of family and friends.
Viewing takes place Monday from 5-9 p.m. at the , 95 Parsippany Road.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Ashforth Tuesday at 11 a.m. at , 179 Baldwin Road.
Cremation will be private.
