Cutting the Grass and Leaving the Trash Sense vs Nonsense..

The Norm of Plastic Pollution must end; time to be offended and take notice, what is before our very eyes .Convenience is Pollution

Cutting The Grass and Leaving The Trash

Why when Municipalities, County, and State workforces are set to perform vegetation growth control; cutting the grass, do they leave the trash? How much longer would it take to police the litter, before cutting it into pieces and adding the pollution to the soil and water-tables of the common environments? This only helps the corporate irresponsibility and individual offenders continue in their lack of concern; profiting at our expense in senseless and unnecessary instant waste products of convenience. Convenience itself has become the driving force in the pollution of our common spaces with plastic/styrofoam products. If we allow, as a society all this material and convenience we must be responsible for it.

Right before our eyes everyday
People who love their country simply do not allow such a thing to get loose; and simply ignore or pretend it is somehow not happening. Let US call this negative freedom, lack of concern for community or sense of home. This is a free market all to free, in that it lacks any vestige of caring other than profits generated by the convenient mass produced waste products; which have reached the level of a criminal enterprise, with no Law Enforcement taking action!

One-tenth the Earth's Surface
Most people have no clue how bad the plastic waste phenomena really is; even though we see it before us each day. Having heard it said; "that if all the waste generated by mass consumption products was concentrated it would take up; one-tenth of the earths surface; 1/10th!"
That is only what goes to the landfill, it does not count the plastic litter infecting our landscapes and open waters. So to this expectation; our Planet its ecologies of the biosphere is a corporate de facto landfill, at the mercy of corporate power for profit by any means necessary. Plastic not only in its short episode of man-made substance has filled the Oceans but is layers deep in our landscapes soils and open waters.

Plastic Plague has long ago reached the level of criminal disgrace or mortal sin..worse than can be imagined..laissez fair is not fair; its the negative freedom to pollute and impose costs on others; recycle a joke, corporate irresponsibility a reality. People who love their country don't allow this type of behavior, for profit mass waste production; single use plastics; nature is and has become a corporate trash dump! Is convenience a magic word? Toss it, the last step in the convenient society.

Causes Need Government Actions not Private Interest
Two causes of the phenomena of plastic single use litter waste for profit (1. Efficient cause; the corporate producers, with no sense of responsibility or conscience (2. Instrumental cause; the litterbug him/herself, and the other who does not remedy or become upset. As a Volunteer in Parks officially since 1976, performing litter abatements i can attest to the magnitude of the offense; It has long ago reached the level of a crime against the environment and the future.. The only remedy is more plastic product bans.
BUT ;IN THE MEAN TIME CAN WE PLEASE PICK UP THE TRASH BEFORE CUTTING THE GRASS? Any job worth doing is worth doing right, or is community just a word? Vegetation harms no one it actually benefits the biosphere, trash, plastic pollutes, offends and humiliates our sense of home, and future, as its cumulative impacts mount.

On the photo evidence seen here

Big pieces of Styrofoam that could of easily been policed up..Sad!..The debris were quite wide spread and into the brush the length of N. Beverwyck to the end of Knoll; for a municipal worker to have left this area in this condition; is a degree of "theft of honest services"..If someone did this to your lawn? This is our lawn, shall we say?!

Lastly sorry to announce our 26th District State officials voted no, against the NJ State Plastic bag styrofoam product ban; sad...Sense verses Nonsense; honesty verses the Naked eye..
