Fight Food Insecurity in Parsippany: Give Or Take

The COVID-19 pandemic has made many vulnerable and residents can give and receive food.

PARSIPPANY, NJ - The new coronavirus, or COVID-19, outbreak has turned lifestyles and the economy upside down in recent weeks and exposed many residents to food insecurity. Parsippany officials say there are options.

Those concerned with food security during this time, can call the Mayor’s Action Center at (973) 263-4262. Parsippany Mayor Michael Soriano posted a video message as a reminder.

Parsippany has a food bank open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, where residents can also receive food essentials. For more information, call (973) 263-7160.
