Madelyn Barkocy to star as "Scout" in "To Kill A Mockingbird"

Madelyn Barkocy, of Rockaway, NJ will star as ”Scout” in To Kill A Mockingbird produced by Fearless Productions, LLC. Ms. Barkocy has appeared as a VIP Dancer for Britney Spears Twister Dance Rave Commercial, was a lead in a Public Service Announcement for the Ramapo - Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. Animal Shelter. Maddie also had the Supporting Role of Grace, in the upcoming book trailer for “The Thickety” and she acted in a green screen video shoot, featured on a B2C (business to consumer) site.

In To Kill A Mockingbird, Maddie, plays the young Jean Louise Finch, known as ”Scout.” Scout is the precocious, tomboy-like child of Atticus FInch. Scout asks tough questions, certainly questions that aren’t “politically correct,” but she can ask these questions because she is a child. As a child, Scout doesn’t understand the full implication of the things happening around her, making her an objective observer and a reporter in the truest sense.

To Kill a Mockingbird is being directed by Steve Lemenille (Clark, NJ) with Jessica Foerst (Westfield, NJ) as Associate Producer. Mr. Lemenille and Ms. Foerst serve on the Advisory Board of Fearless Productions and also serve on the Board of Directors of Westfield Community Players as President and Director of Playbill, respectively. Both Mr. Lemenille and Mr. Remo are NJACT Perry Award nominees for Outstanding Directors. Ms. Foerst was a NJACT Perry Award nominee for Outstanding Lighting.
