Parade of Champions: Motorcade Set for Par Hills Vikings After Title Win
Mayor plans ceremony to honor high school football team.

The Parsippany Hills Vikings football team took down Cranford in the North 2, Group 3 state sectional title game last weekend, and now the community at large can celebrate with the players and coaches.
Parsippany Mayor James Barberio announced Wednesday a motorcade has been set for 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14 from Jannarone Park on Walsh Drive and head down Interpace Parkway, then head south on Cherry Hill Road to Route 202 South. The motorcade will then turn right onto Sedgefield Drive, left onto Ferncliff, right onto Highland, right onto Moraine Road, left on Tarn Drive, and right onto Rt. 53.
The motorcade will then make its way back to the Parsippany Hills High School parking lot.

“The hearts of the township residents are bursting with pride,” Barberio said in a statement. “We admire these young champions who have represented Parsippany with such determination and dignity. They have carried themselves with pride and respect and exemplify our highest traditions of good sportsmanship.”
Parsippany beat out Summit in the semifinals and Cranford in the title game, 19-13, to win the sectional crown at MetLife Stadium Sunday.
