Parsippany Buys Late Councilman's Home, Will Use as EMS Offices

Council votes unanimously to acquire former home of James Vigilante.

Parsippany political figure James Vigilante is gone, but he certainly won’t be forgotten.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Council Tuesday night unanimously approved the purchase of Vigilante’s former Littleton Road home, which was most recently listed for $599,000 by his estate.

The plan for the property, which includes five bedrooms, four full and two-half bathrooms, is to convert it into parking and administrative offices for the Parsippany Emergency Medical Services staff.
