Parsippany Movie Theater To Undergo Luxury Makeover
The Parsippany Cinépolis will feature a lot more amenities when the transformation is over.

PARSIPPANY, NJ— A Parsippany movie theater will undergo renovations later this year to make it more luxurious, including the addition of reclining seats.
Cinépolis USA, which moved into the former Bow Tie Cinema space at the Morris Hills Shopping Center in July, is giving the theater a high-end makeover.
“Cinépolis USA’s growth has been tremendous and we are delighted to introduce our luxury category in the Northeast with this momentous renovation,” said CEO of Cinépolis USA, Adrian Mijares Elizondo. “Parsippany is a wonderful community, and we look forward to offering an unparalleled cinema experience to this extraordinary new audience.”

On the snack front, moviegoers will be treated to an upgraded concessions stand with new takes on movie theater classics and in-theater dinner service with a full meal and bar menu. Customers will order by screen, eliminating the noise of verbal ordering during the show.
The standard theater seats will be replaced with recliners, and the projectors and audio equipment will be upgraded.

Cinépolis will be the second luxury theater in the area. AMC Theatres overhauled their Headquarters Plaza location beginning in 2013. (That theater is better known for being the former home of the Ticket Taker Guy.)
Ticket prices will range from $13-20.
Cinépolis is hoping the renovations will be finished by late 2018, and is not expecting to close during that time.
