Parsippany Police Sgt. Dies at 46

Richard Davis spent the last 21 years living in Parsippany, and even more serving it as a police officer.

The 24-year member of the force and Sergeant died Thursday at the age of 46.

Davis was a member of the PBA Local 131 and St. Christopher’s Church in Parsippany.

He was predeceased by his mother in 1998. He is survived by his wife, Donna, a son, daughter, his father, and many extended family members.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, June 2 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Christopher Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany, with visiting hours from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Parsippany Troy Hills Funeral Home on Monday.
