Parsippany Student Hurt, Exited Window During Lockdown: Police
Police say the lockdown at PPHS is not related to the situation at Morris County Vocational Technical School.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — A student was injured during a lockdown at Parsippany Hills High School Friday morning, one of several that took place across the state on Friday.
During the Parsippany lockdown, a student tried to exit through a first floor window and cut himself, police said. He is being treated by EMTs.
The lockdown was among several school-related that took place across New Jersey on Friday. Clementon Elementary School evacuated after threat, according to 6abc, and Daily Voice reported that Garfield High School had a shelter-in-place.

The lockdown at PHHS is not related to the nearby Morris County School of Technology lockdown, police said.
The PPHS lockdown was initiated in response to a "perceived student threat," the Board of Education said. They did not elaborate on what that threat was. The lockdown has since been lifted, and students are back on their regular class schedule, police said.
