PrimoHoagies Rockaway Opens, Free Hoagies to First 100 Customers

PrimoHoagies, known for its gourmet hoagies with high-quality meats and cheeses piled high on fresh-baked rolls, announced today the grand opening of its first location in Rockaway, New Jersey and its second in northern New Jersey is set for Tuesday, October 19 at 10:00 a.m. Owned by local business partners Felix Galinsky and Anthony Falange, the franchise is located at 395 Mt. Hope Avenue in Rockaway, NJ 07866. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin promptly at 9:45 a.m.

PrimoHoagies will give the first 100 customers* in line at the Rockaway location on October 19a free Primo Size Hoagie. For the rest of grand opening day, customers in the rewards program will enjoy Primo Size Hoagies for just $6.99.

Using recipes passed down through the generations for its iconic hoagies, PrimoHoagies layers Thumann’s gourmet meats and cheeses, a secret blend of spices, and locally sourced, fresh vegetables onto award-winning, seeded rolls that are baked fresh throughout the day. The casual restaurant’s diverse menu features a wide variety of cold and hot hoagies, cheesesteaks, wraps, vegetarian options, sides, chips, drinks, cookies, desserts, and more.

“The tight-knit, family feel of PrimoHoagies is really what drew me in,” said Galinsky. “Not only is the quality of our food second to none, but the warm, welcoming atmosphere is something I strive to replicate in Rockaway.”

Galinsky and Falange opened their first PrimoHoagies location in Mahwah, NJ during the height of the pandemic, yet found great success in this new venture thanks in large part to the hard work and dedication of their team. The partners are now eager to open this second location and bring a Philly favorite to Rockaway.

The 2,200-square-foot retail store, expected to employ 15 people, will offer takeout, delivery, and limited indoor seating. PrimoHoagies also offers catering, including their popular hoagie trays – perfect for special events, gameday, and luncheons.

This location will be open from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. daily.
