Red Hawks finish up at Morris County Relay Championship

Day 2 of the Morris County Relay Championship continued with more mixed results from the Red Hawks.  Overall the Parsippany Boys finished in 9th place with 18 points and the Parsippany Girls finished 6th place with 26 points.

The highlight of the day was the Girls Javelin relay capturing the title with combined total of 271-05.  Kathryn Campbell had the highest mark of the event with a throw of 116-11.  She combined with Donna Herbst and Elena Figuero to capture the Javelin Relay title!

In the Girls sprint medley, the another school record was taken down by the quartet of Bria Saunders, Salena LeDonne, Jen Mlynar and Ally Schlosser. The previous school record was 4:17.78 set last year at the Count Relays.  The new school record is now 4:16.56!  In the Boys shot put PRs were on the menu, served up by John Burk, Leonard Youseff and Solomon Crawford.

This meet also welcome the return of Lionel Chambers who ran the anchored leg of the 4x200 with a top 3 finish. It was great to see Lionel back on the track.

3rd Place finish with Jen Mlynar, Ally Schlosser, Gabby Rachmaciej, Bria Saunders 4:04.62.  Ally ran a PR split of 62.6!

Boys Shot Put

14th place finish with a combined total of 105-02.50 John Burk 37-07.25 (PR), Leonard Youssef 34-06.50 (PR), Solomon Crawford 33-00.75 (PR)

Girls Discus

12th place finish with relay of Emily Fales 73-03, Kathryn Campbell 72-09, Donna Herbst 71-02

Boys & Girls Javelin

Girls 1st place finish with an combined total of  271-05. Kathryn Campbell 116-11, Donna Herbst 96-05, Elena Figuero 58-01. The Boys Javelin did not place but Dan Campbell threw the 3rd highest mark of the meet with 153-10.
