The Bhopal disaster, also referred to as the Bhopal gas tragedy, was a gas leak incident on the night of 2–3 December 1984 at the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) pesticide plant in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is considered among the world's worst industrial disasters.
Persists to this day.

To this day, Surveys done by the Bhopal campaign groups have shown this toxic waste, which according to their tests contains six of the persistent organic pollutants banned by the UN for their highly poisonous impacts on the environment and human health, has now reached 42 areas in Bhopal and continues to spread.
What in god's name was this type facility doing in Bhopal to begin with? We should remember this tragedy and crime, not an accident, every-time we consider using Roundup type herbicides.

Parsippany Needs to Ban Use of Roundup in Their Workforce

Parsippany has the power to stop it's municipal work force from using such manmade chemicals that pose to threat to human health and the complexities of nature, including our water. Chemicals such as roundup need and should only be applied with surgical type application, not as we see them being used, all for a sterile ecological dead impervious surface called a lawn; the outside carpet.

Residents should insist Parsippany stop the use of this killer herbicide in their Municipal Workforce; Including the Knoll Golf Utility. It is a known Carcinogen; and in Parsippany's case easily capable of reaching our groundwater and soils.

Our East Indian Population should be advocates to have the Town cease use of this chemical Glyphosate which still contains remnants of the MIC killer of Bhopal.
