RIP Statesman Mikhail Gorbachev You tried, but were Betrayed

RIP Mikhail Gorbachev. His big mistake was having trust in Humanity to do the right thing; however this was done at the same time the Reaganites and Neoliberal Capitalist were ascending and demising US democracy. The lesson in retrospect was never trust the US. All agreements made with his new Russia were treated like Indian Treaties.
When the Soviet Union got out of it's own way in 1989 under Gorbachev NATO was to remain where it was, and eventually one would think disband gradually. This "Presidential" aka gentleman's deal was trashed; one reason being our Musical Chair Forms of Unconstitutional formulas for dealing with foreign relations. One President from another changes his whims and publicity polls for political ends and approval, a circus for media hype. Do everything everywhere else, but ignore your own country, invest their tax dollars in foreign ventures, and finding enemies. The present war in Ukraine is another example of unnecessary US/NATO war as economy and gangsterism as diplomacy.
Only Congress can sanction war, when all else fails. We are seeing none of this.In fact NATO is an Arms Sales Paradise, not a defense coalition. No one wants wars, except the Pentagon and corporate international exploiters for others resources; we proclaim the world belongs to us as some real estate.

Ukrainian and Russian Peoples are the same historical people with thousands of years of shared culture. These are the People that lost 26-million killed in the Great Patriotic War against fascist invasion. Now all of a sudden they are being manipulated to war. How: through us tax-dollars bribery and corruption in their elections using our tax-dollars or fiat money produced wherever the US desires it. IT IS WE who interfere in others elections; as the History of our Hemisphere Clearly demonstrates. It is socialism for the Lords of Capital; and Capitalism for the ordinary people, and upside down Republic.
Without good government we are doomed. No economic interest, under any circumstances, can ever be above the reverence for life. A huge part of the problem is the Jeffersonian notion that" the government that governs best is the one that governs least". While it is true as regards individual liberties, it is absolutely dangerous to think that way as regards economy..
The Great American Taboo.
Any sensible society would chose socialism, unfortunately this human system of the government being the means proper, as government intended is trashed by the powers of corporate dominance over society and any hope of real democracy and economic equity. All agreement made with the Gorbachev were dishonored. Under Bush, Rumsfeld Russia was ignored and violated.
Our American dilemma
What can the people do when political parties, the two continually do not represent their interest? As Citizens we are denied these passive basic rights: 1. Health Care including Dental w/taxes paid already 2. Affordable Housing according to a set amount according to income 3. Meaningful work of actual need subsidized by government tax. The Government should be the Means Proper for all this; instead we have laissez faire, and or not getting past helping small business with Corporate Power corrupting the republic and democracy..

Not allowing and wasting resources to destroy socialism?
The Soviet People and others became enemies simply because they in their lands and places decided to have Socialism, from that day one they were planned to be demised by the powers of finance, we obviously were the enemy, denying others their inherit and sacred right of governance; our tax dollars were used to demise them and our own societies.
Defense called War; war against humanity itself.
One Tenth of the Military Budget alone can pay for the Health Well-being and education of all. Wealth scene only as monetary wealth produces poverty, and subversion and a return to serfdom and economic slavery through meaningless jobs to make ends meet. We can do better much better; but leadership is lacking...We should rename the Department of Defense; the War Department; as it used to be.
We are our own worst enemy
In capitalism the economy is the enemy because of the unsustainable production and consumption, the economy is to nowhere and creates poverty and environmental destruction. Our economy exists in a vacuum outside the laws of nature, a fantasy; progress a myth.
*Sustainable scale Ecological economics contend that for any given ecosystems setting, there is an optimum scale of the economy beyond which physical growth in the economy (throughput)(waste) starts costing more than it is worth in terms of human welfare, and resource degradation.

One fact and component of Marxist is, in fact most of the philosophy and observations are concerned with ecology and sustainability, this is mocked by the political right. Green is seen only as finance, nature is some other, rather than the background we all came out of and into.We fail to be keepers of the Garden. Capitalism unregulated equals pollution, exploitation, and Climate Change
In Austria Marx is celebrated in his birthplace, he posses no threat.
At least the Soviet Union tried, Gorbachev allowed the Communist State to get out of it's own way, when will the forces of freedom allow or deem the corporate power to remove itself from government as intended, and serve humanity and the earth? One cannot have a government or law based on individual over the collective; what we witness today is the demise of government itself, by elected officials who do not believe in the purpose, intention, and need of why governments are established on this Earth. When will we admit we are now a failed experiment, in danger of dark forces dominating our republic.
War as economy-is still destroying US all. We are blinded by our own propaganda..
