Trump's statements about California Forest Management are asinine; biomass; (or what Trump called dead trees, and leaves) makes a forest healthy; imagine raking leaves in a forest; who would pay for those senseless jobs? This clearly shows his and his Parties concepts or lack thereof of ecology in general; Biden should of asked Mr. Trump do you know what biodiversity is; or what is a Complex systems that make the biosphere of earth healthy or anti-entropic? Do you understand the basic laws of thermodynamics and entropy?

Leaves and dead wood in a forest is called biomass, its part of a forest health measure, and promotes co-evolution, and biodiversity. Organic soil, formed and composed of biomass, holds 120X its weight in water, take the biomass from a forest and it will become even drier especially during droughts..Trumps "forest management" is stupid!

Ignorance of the laws of nature; natures's complex systems of self-organization, and the laws of thermodynamics; and the myth of endless growth; this ignorance permeates the whole of our society; and seeing capitalism as the only system worthy of man existence is tragic! If Trump has no concept of ecology or real life systems how then can he proclaim human induced climate change is a hoax, by what criteria does he makes such proclamations? Everything has limits to its growth, our system has outlived its purpose and no longer represents any good, in a wholesome sense of right or reason. 2020 is under the present system of corporate take over of government is a return to the dark ages, and inquisition, where authority is power over knowledge or the ability to be another way of better, not richer or life-giving. When science and history are fake news, ignorance reigns and crime becomes law and order. The purpose of government is not abolishment of government, but harmony, and ending destructive competition between various groups through economic equity and justice; not corporate tax evasions, and theft of the common by using wage taxes for private purpose. It's simple the less the haves pay, the more the have nots are forced to pay for a diminished social order of austerity and privatization; right now our tax-dollars are being taken, used for private bailouts of the fossil fuel giants and their hedge-funds; free market scams. When money becomes the only vantage point to see life democracy no longer exists, nor does the Constitution live.
