Unity For Our Community In Parsippany

Making a difference

To whom it may concern,
I would like to inform the community on the great efforts of my son Clayton Bernauer and his Parsippany High School classmates, Fraidoon Pourooshasb, Nirbhav Talloju as well as his Lakeland Hills teammate Alex Vester. These young 17-18 year old men coordinated and executed a Community Service project throughout summer and into the fall, “UNITY FOR OUR COMMUNITY”. Family, friends and neighbors all contributed to this wonderful cause during such a chaotic time facing COVID-19, numerous protests, and political challenges. One can drive through the Parsippany Normandy Village neighborhood and notice how just a few can make a difference as they can visually see all the flags mounted throughout just a small community. So far these young men have sold and installed over 12 American flags throughout the community of Morris County and collected over $800.00 in proceeds which will be going to the Interfaith Food Pantry in support of the growing number of Individuals and families In need. Participants have been provided the option to donate food, money or purchase a flag pole and flag ( installation included) for $75.00, all profits going to the pantry. Please recognize these young men for their leadership, compassion, and philanthropy! Best regards, Stacey Bernauer
