Vikings Face Gridiron Nemesis Saturday For Shot at Title Game

Parsippany Hills will play against Summit in the semifinal round.

It’s pretty safe to say the Parsippany Hills Vikings don’t have much love for their gridiron counterparts from Summit.

For the third straight year, the two teams will face off in the NJSIAA North 2, Group 3 playoffs. The last two seasons, the Vikings have lost to Summit. In 2013, the loss for Parsippany Hills came in the title game.

On Saturday at 1 p.m. in Summit, the Vikings have the chance to reverse that trend as the two squads battle yet again, this time in the semifinal round. Winner heads to the championship game against the winner of Cranford vs. West Essex.
