Watch: Morris County Remembers 9/11 On 21st Anniversary Of The Attacks
Despite the rain, more than 150 people came out to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The rain didn't stop Morris County from coming out to honor the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. More than 150 first responders, public officials and residents attended the Morris County 9/11 Memorial in Parsippany on the 21st anniversary of the fateful day.
Carl Asaro, Jr., an FDNY (Fire Department New York) firefighter, was the keynote speaker. Asaro provided unscripted remarks about his father — FDNY firefighter Carl Asaro, Sr. — who was killed responding to the attacks on the Twin Towers on Sept. 11, 2001.
The U.S. Naval Cadet Sea Corps out of Picatinny Arsenal joined the procession of first responders this year. The procession traditionally kicks off each ceremony by marching up West Hanover Avenue to the memorial.
