Historic Norma K II Rises Again

The boat's owner is hoping to find a place to store the classic wooden boat her father bought years ago, so it can be repaired.

Many in Point Pleasant Beach thought the historic wooden party fishing boat Norma K II was gone for good when she sank in her Cooks Creek dock several weeks ago.

But Norma Keller - whose father bought the boat decades ago and named it after her - says the Norma K II has been pumped out and is floating again, according to a story on app.com.

Now Keller needs a place to store the boat so it can be repaired. The Norma K II’s stern rudder got stuck in mud during a very low tide. When the high tide came in, water rushed into the scuppers and weighed the boat down
