A Letter To The Editor From Chris Leitner
Former Point Pleasant councilman running for Ocean County freeholder.

A Letter to the Editor from former Point Pleasant Councilman Chris Leitner, who is running for a seat on the Ocean County Board of Freeholder this year.
I was honored to represent the people of Point Pleasant for many wonderful years. I approached every issue trying to always do what was best for the people of our town. I want you all to know that Ed Wolff, Peter Hagemeyer and Jack Butler all have the same level of commitment to our town. They are running for council simply because they want to do what is best for everyone in town - not just for a select few or a particular party. These men are truly independent and their sole purpose in running is to make sure that all the people in our borough are treated fairly and are well informed about what the borough’s government is actually doing.
Please join me and get out and vote Wolff, Hagemeyer and Butler on November 3.

Of course, as I am running for Ocean County Freeholder, I would like to ask for your vote for myself and my running mate, Jim Esposito, as well.
We all want similar things: out-of-the box ideas to lower taxes, investment in our recreational facilities, reversing the drug epidemic, protection of our environment, and open and responsive government.
