$1,000 Bike Stolen From Princeton Garage

A woman is also wanted for stealing cash and a credit card from a wallet at the Princeton Public Library, police report.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police reported multiple thefts in town including a $1,000 bike.

On Aug. 8 a Springdale Road resident said that sometime between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. someone went into their opened garage and stole a white "Specialized Langster" bicycle worth $1,000, Princeton Police said.

On Aug. 8 at 3:31 p.m.: A Bainbridge Street resident reported that on July 5, someone altered a check they had written and deposited it into an unauthorized account. The check was for $925.24.

On Aug. 9: The complainant reported that the driver of a green Acura MDX with NJ license plates had just driven away after failing to pay for the gas they received at the business located in the 200 block of Nassau Street. The witness described the suspect as a white man in his fifties, with gray hair, wearing a light blue shirt and khaki pants. The cost of the gas was $33.94.

On Aug. 9 at 9:42 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Witherspoon Street for driving without headlights, the driver, Mikael Hobby, 25, of Ewing was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of suspected marijuana. Hobby was placed under arrest and was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) in a motor vehicle. He was later released with several summonses.

On Aug. 10: The victim reported that on Aug. 9 at 6 p.m., about $50 in cash and an American Express credit card were stolen from their wallet. The theft occurred in an unsecured study room at the public library. Video surveillance depicts the suspect as a black woman in her early 20’s.

On Aug. 10 at 9:41 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop for speeding, the driver, Yana Reynolds, 18, of Crossing, Pennsylvania was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of suspected marijuana. Reynolds was placed under arrest and was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) in a motor vehicle. She was later released with several summonses.
