2 Unlocked Vehicles Burglarized In Princeton
A third attempted burglary, caught on surveillance camera, was unsuccessful as the Princeton vehicle was locked, police said.
PRINCETON, NJ — Here is proof locking your cars works. Two unlocked vehicles were burglarized and a third burglary was unsuccessful due to the car being locked, Princeton Police report.
On Tuesday a Meetinghouse Court resident reported that sometime overnight someone entered their unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing appeared to be stolen.
A Van Marter Court resident also reported that same night someone entered their unlocked vehicle and stole a spare key, a document, and $80 cash.

At 5 a.m. on Wednesday a George Drive resident's exterior security camera captured someone trying to get into their locked vehicles without success, police report.
The person was described as wearing a white mask, dark colored hooded sweatshirt, dark colored sweatpants, Nike brand light colored shoes with orange trim and a dark colored cross-strap style bag.

Last week seven unlocked vehicles were also burglarized, prompting police to remind residents to lock their vehicles. (See Related: 7 Unlocked Princeton Cars Burglarized In 3 Days)
Princeton Police posted a video on their Facebook page as a reminder to residents to lock their vehicle's doors, take valuables, and hide any belongings from sight.
