$5K In Furniture Stolen From Princeton Charter Club: Police
Princeton police release their activity report.

PRINCETON, NJ — A total of about $5,000 in furniture was recently stolen from the Princeton Charter Club on Prospect Avenue, police said Thursday morning. A custom DT brown coffee table was reported stolen from the outside rear of the club sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 20, and about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 22. A $1,500 Altinas Custom Interior brown leather club chair was stolen in the same incident.
The thefts were reported as part of the Princeton Police Department’s activity report posted on the township website on Wednesday, April 25. All incidents are merely accusations, and those accused are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, and 7:30 a.m. on Monday, April 23, an Apple MacBook laptop worth $1,700 and about $242 in U.S. currency were stolen from a home on the 100 block of Parkside Drive. They were stolen after unknown actor(s) broke into the home through the kitchen window.

Charles Rooks, 63, of Baltimore, MD, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he was stopped for failure to maintain lane on the 500 block of Princeton-Kingston Road at about 11:59 p.m. on April 20. Rooks was transported to police headquarters for processing, issued several summonses with pending court dates and subsequently released to a sober adult.
Quadhir Perry, 20, of Collingdale, PA, was found to be in possession of marijuana over 50 grams following a traffic stop for an NCIC arrest warrant on the 100 block of State Road on April 21 at 7:38 p.m. Perry was arrested and taken to police headquarters, where he was processed, issued several complaint summonses with a pending court date and a provided courtesy transport back to his vehicle.

Raul Castillo, 37, of Levittown, PA, was arrested on two active warrants totaling $1,000 out of East Brunswick and Berkeley Township municipal courts following a traffic stop for maintenance of lamps on the 100 block of State Road at 11:52 p.m. on April 24. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed, issued a summons with a pending court date and turned over to the East Brunswick Police Department.
Jorge E. Mata, 62, of Trenton, was arrested on an outstanding ATS warrant for $1,500 out of New Brunswick Municipal Court following a traffic stop for failure to maintain lane on the 100 block of Hartley Avenue at about 11:37 p.m. on April 20. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed, issued a summons with a pending court date and released after posting his bail.
