Arts Council of Princeton Presents The Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra at the Princeton Shopping Center

The Arts Council of Princeton presents The Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra on Thursday, July 30th.

As part of the 2015 Summer Courtyard Concert Series, the Arts Council of Princeton, in partnership with the Princeton Shopping Center and Edens, presents The Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra on Thursday, July 30, at 6 p.m.

As part of the Summer Courtyard Concert Series at the Princeton Shopping Center, PJO is simply one of the best swingin’ big bands in the region made up of rising stars. The concept behind the orchestra was to keep motivated and talented students playing their instruments during the summer. Led by Princeton High’s jazz director, Joe Bongiovi, this orchestra has all the discipline of a professional Jazz ensemble, even though the Orchestra’s average age is 17!

The Summer Courtyard Concert Series is free and open to the public. Concerts will be held rain or shine; bring a lawn chair or blanket. In the case of rain, concerts will be held indoors at the ACP’s Pop-Up Studio in the Shopping Center. Ample parking is available at the Princeton Shopping Center.
