Attorney Describes 'Dysfunctional' Relationship Between Mercer County Man, Alleged Murder Victim
Tyron Lindsay was charged last week with the murder of Jessica Prusik.

A Hamilton Township man accused of killing 38-year-old Jessica Prusik was a long-time friend from Nottingham High School, and the two had gotten high together in the past, his attorney said during a bail hearing Thursday morning.
Jack Furlong described the relationship between Prusik and 38-year-old Tyron D. Lindsay as “dysfunctional,” according to The Trentonian. Lindsay “categorically denies” murdering her.
Prusik’s body was found in a weeded area in Roebling Park off Sewell Streer just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6. An autopsy conducted the same day determined she was murdered by manual strangulation.

During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to determine that Prusik was last seen with Lindsay, on Oct. 5.
Detectives were also able to place Lindsay and Prusik in a black 1992 Ford F150 extended cab. That truck was later discovered by police in Bristol, Pa.

Lindsay was arrested while he was working on Oct. 27. He was charged with first-degree murder.
Furlong said his client cooperated with police once it became apparent he was the target of the murder investigation, according to the report.
