Bagel & Coffee Breakfast In Honor Of MLK Day In Princeton
The event will take place at the Arts Council of Princeton. Non-perishable food donations will also be accepted during the event.
PRINCETON, NJ — To celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Arts Council of Princeton will be hosting a community bagel and coffee breakfast.
The event will take place on Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 16 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Tina Campt, noted Black feminist theorist of visual culture and contemporary art and Roger S. Berlind '52 Professor at Princeton University, will be the speaker.

There will also be a copy of an updated limited-edition coloring book featuring prominent Black residents of Princeton from history, including business owners, politicians, educators and influential women, for families to pick up.
The book will also include Martin Luther King Jr.'s visits to Princeton campus in the 1960s. This book has been designed in partnership with the Historical Society of Princeton and historian Shirley Satterfield.

During the event, the Arts Council of Princeton will be accepting food donations for families in need. Canned, boxed or non-perishable food items will be accepted at the drive.
All donations will benefit Princeton Nursery School, which provides quality education and childcare for families in need.
