PRINCETON, NJ - Actor Alec Baldwin will appear at Princeton University Concerts on Sept. 19, 2026, to launch the organization's 2026-27 Music & Healing series with a conversation about the role classical music has played in his life.

The event, set for 3 p.m. at Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall, will be moderated by WQXR New York evening host Terrance McKnight and will feature live piano performances by pianist Tony Siqi Yun tied to Baldwin's personal connection to classical music.

"I'm often disappointed when at the movies," Baldwin said in the announcement. "I'm sometimes disappointed when I go to the theater — and I'm never disappointed when I go to the Symphony."

"This event launches the fifth anniversary season of the Music & Healing series, which began in the wake of the pandemic to celebrate the profound role music plays in all of our lives," said Music & Healing series curator Dasha Koltunyuk.
