Bristol Myers Squibb Will Lay Off 48 Employees At Princeton Location
The cuts will go into effect on May 31. It's not clear what type of roles will be eliminated
PRINCETON, NJ – Biopharma company Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) will be cutting 48 jobs from its Princeton facility, the company confirmed.
The cuts will go into effect on May 31, according to the Worker Adjustment and Retaining Notification (WARN) alert filed in the state.
WARN notices offer protection to workers, their families and communities by requiring employers to provide notice 60 days in advance of covered plant closings and covered mass layoffs.

The Princeton office is located at Nassau Park Blvd.
Speaking about the job cuts, a company spokesperson told Patch BMS is “evolving to support our mission to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases.”

“As we move forward in 2023, we are continuing to deliver on our long-term business strategy by aligning resources to best support our operating model and our portfolio evolution,” the spokesperson said over email.
It’s not clear what type of roles will be eliminated in this layoff. But the 200,000 square feet facility houses information management, global sourcing and accounting.
BMS also has locations in Rt. 206, Lawrenceville; and Princeton Pike.
