PRINCETON, NJ — The Princeton Police blotter dated Jan. 23 contained the following reports:

On Jan. 17 at 7:34 p.m., Princeton police conducted a motor vehicle stop. A 25-year-old Belle Mead man was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. He was taken to headquarters, processed, charged and released to a sober adult.

On Jan. 17, 12 p.m., a resident of Prospect Avenue reported that an unknown person altered and cashed a check they had written to another party, defrauding the resident of $3,745. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On Jan. 18 at 10:49 a.m. police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street. A 32-year-old Hamilton man was found to have two active arrest warrants out of Hamilton Twp. Municipal Court in the amount of $755 each, police said. He was placed under arrest, transported to headquarters and later turned over to Hamilton police.

On Jan. 21, at 4:30 p.m. A caller from Jonathan Dayton Court told police that an unknown person entered their residence and stole $4,000 in cash. The Detective Bureau is currently investigating.
