Car Theft, DUI, Shoplifting: Princeton Police Blotter

PRINCETON, NJ — On Aug. 14, at 7:51 p.m., an investigation found that Princeton resident Elvis Martinez-Silva, 43, stole a vehicle from Guyot Ave. and was driving while intoxicated. Martinez-Silva was arrested for Motor Vehicle Theft and Driving While Intoxicated, police said. He was charged and transported to the Mercer County Correction Center.

On Aug. 15, at 10:27 a.m., a Godel Lane resident reported that landscaping equipment was stolen from their parked trailer. Douglas McIntyre, 38, of Levittown, PA was apprehended by Lawrence Township Police and found to be in possession of the equipment, police said. McIntyre was charged with Burglary to a Motor Vehicle and Theft.

On Aug. 19, at 4:46 p.m., a resident of Hulfish Street reported that someone stole a pair of earrings and left the store without paying for them. Diana Osorio, 19, of South Amboy was located on Nassau Street by patrol and was subsequently charged with shoplifting.
