PRINCETON, NJ — Construction on Cherry Valley Road continues on Friday and through next week in Princeton.
Work through next week will include roadway grading, base paving and construction of the last retaining wall.

Friday, Aug. 2:
- Roadway grading and base paving at the western end of the project limits. All traffic through the intersection of Cherry Hill Road (north-south) will be prohibited between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents shall access the project area from the east end of the project during work hours. All through traffic shall use the detour route on Ridgeview Road and Great Road during work hours.
All traffic through the intersection of Cherry Hill Road (north-south) will reopen at the end of workday on Aug. 2.

During the week of Aug. 5:
- Roadway grading and base paving of the roadway between Cherry Hill Road (south – Princeton side) and the eastern project limits near Jefferson’s Curve.
- Continued construction of the last retaining wall on the south side of the roadway at the eastern project limits near Jefferson’s Curve.
- Sidepath grading.
Cherry Valley Road will remain closed between Cherry Hill Road (south – Princeton side) and the eastern project limits near Jefferson’s Curve to through traffic in the work zone.
