Cherry Valley Road Expected To Reopen On Sept. 3
Final paving on Cherry Valley Road is expected to be completed this week to finish off the project that began in December 2018.
PRINCETON, NJ — Cherry Valley Road is expected to reopen next week after being closed since December 2018 for construction.
Final paving is expected to be finished and Cherry Valley Road will open to all traffic, no later than 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3 — depending on weather.
The final phase of the project will be done Monday through Wednesday (weather permitting). No traffic through the intersection of Cherry Hill Road will be allowed between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to allow for sidewalk and roadway paving.

A detour route on Ridgeview Road and Great Road will be set up. The intersection will be reopened each evening for traffic.
Cherry Valley Road will remain closed from Cherry Hill Road (southern leg) to the eastern limits of the project at Jefferson Curve to through traffic 24/7 in the work zone.

The joint project between Princeton and Montgomery Township began in early December 2018 to improve Cherry Valley Road from 300 feet west of Cherry Hill Road to the Mercer County Bridge at "Jefferson's Curve" (west of George Drive).
