Death Of Woman Found In Plastic Bag Remains Shrouded In Mystery

The death of a woman whose body was found on a street in Trenton in September remains shrouded in mystery.
On Wednesday, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said it has received the autopsy and toxicology results for 43-year-old Lillian Duran, and that the cause and manner of death remain undetermined. The autopsy was conducted by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Trenton police found Duran’s body in a plastic bag in the area of 460 Lamberton Street at about 5 p.m. on Sept. 4.

Duran, a former teacher’s aide who struggled with drug addiction, was visited by men who may have been drug dealers looking for her to repay a debt, her family told The Trentonian. They believe she was murdered, despite the fact that authorities have not classified her death a homicide.
